The 2021/22 season could be a big one for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 20-year-old burst onto the scene during the 2018/19 season but his progress has somewhat stalled over the past two campaigns amid a combination of injury and lack of playing time.
Although, the youngster did feature regularly in the early stages of Tuchel's tenure, sometimes featuring as a wing-back in the German tactician's 3-4-2-1 formation.
However, Hudson-Odoi was a late substitute in last season's FA Cup final loss against Leicester City and didn't even get off the bench for the Champions League final win over Manchester City.
The latter number is something that Hudson-Odoi will be looking to improve on in the new season and he may have been given a boost towards achieving that goal.
Having not been called up for this summer's European Championships, he was one of three Chelsea players to report for pre-season training last week.
And as spotted during Chelsea's 'Exclusive Access' training video uploaded to the club's YouTube page, at around the 1.37-minute mark, Tuchel has an interesting message for Hudson-Odoi.
"This is very good for Callum Hudson-Odoi," the German said. "No more hiding, hiding is over."
The 'no more hiding' message could be seen as a target for Hudson-Odoi to use this pre-season to emerge from the shadows and establish himself in Tuchel's team.
