Chelsea announce Brazilian deal is done, powerhouse delighted after Chelsea deal confirmed and defender wants to join Chelsea amid talks

Kenedy leaves the club on loan, Batshuayi joins Besiktas and Kounde would prefer Chelsea move in top news of the day…. Chelsea have announ...

Chelsea have announced that Kenedy has joined Brazilian side Flamengo after agreeing to extend his contract with the club Thomas Tuchel has just managed to persuade the board to splash almost £100 million on the signing of Romelu Lukaku, meaning that the club will need to sell a few players in order to get some of that cash back.

And that means players, like Kenedy, who has not really been able to make any sort of impact at the club since his move to the club, is all set to depart Stamford Bridge for a move back to Brazilian football.

Kenedy is out of favour at Stamford Bridge and the winger has been holding talks with Brazilian club Flamengo over a move for a few weeks now, but today it has been announced that he will be leaving the club for the next 12 months

Chelsea announced on the club website: ‘Kenedy has extended his contract with Chelsea and returned to Brazil on loan with Flamengo for the 2021/22 season.

‘The winger will spend the coming campaign back in his homeland after completing his switch to Flamengo, who share the same Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro as his first professional club Fluminense. ‘Flamengo are the current reigning league champions in both the national Brazilian Serie A and the regional Rio de Janeiro State Championship.’

Kenedy was signed by Chelsea as a big talent for the future, but a number of loans and lack of chances at the club has meant that his career in England has not been the success that he had hoped for So the news that he is going back to Brazilian football is not a big surprise as this would be the best thing for the man.So lets see how he does over in Brazilian football as a move to Europe has not worked out

Michy Batshuayi has joined Besiktas on a season-long loan after extending his contract at Chelsea by an extra year.

The 27-year-old had spells at Borussia Dortmund and Valencia before being snapped up on a six-month deal by Crystal Palace in January 2019. Chelsea brought him back for the 2019-20 campaign, but sent him to Palace again the following season as he continued to struggle for regular minutes.

Batshuayi will spend the 2021-22 campaign with the Turkish club after passing a medical at their training ground on Wednesday, as he will not get much game time at Chelsea this coming season. Batshuayi has taken to social media to confirm the move, writing on Twitter: “Very very happy to join Besiktas, an incredible opportunity for me and I’m already looking to play.

“Thank you to all the fans for the crazy welcome at Istanbul. See you at the stadium very soon. #batsman” Meanwhile, Chelsea have released an official statement revealing that the forward could make his debut for Besiktas as early as this weekend. “Michy Batshuayi has today extended his contract at Chelsea until 2023 and joined Besiktas on loan for the season,” the statement reads.

“The Belgian forward heads to Vodafone Park – the venue of our 2019 Super Cup clash with Liverpool – for the remainder of this season, after passing a medical in Istanbul and signing the relevant paperwork. He could make his debut for Besiktas on Saturday.”

It has been a shame to see that Michy has not been able to make the kind of impact at the club that many had hoped for. But this transfer move will do him the world of good as he could get the game time he wants And if he impresses enough, he could get a more permanent move away from the club

Chelsea fans have been told that Jules Kounde would prefer a transfer move to the Bridge this summer

Thomas Tuchel now has one of the very best squads in the Premier League and after managing to get the board to splash the cash on Romelu Lukaku, has a striker that has the ability to find the back of the net on a weekly basis.

But there is a strong feeling that adding another defender to that back-line is something that Tuchel would like to do over the next few weeks, and Kounde is a player that is high up on the shopping list.

Regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the game, Kounde has developed nicely at Sevilla, enough so, that is now valued at a massive £68 million, so would not come cheap when clubs try to make a move.

But now amid the speculation that a number of clubs are interested in a deal for the young man, Transfer expert Duncan Castles has claimed that Kounde would prefer a transfer move to Chelsea this window.

Speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window Podcast, via the Express, Duncan Castles said: “The guidance I have is that Kounde would prefer Chelsea, should they be able to come to an agreement with Sevilla over a transfer fee in the last fortnight of the window, to Tottenham.”

It is very easy to see just why Chelsea are very keen on a deal for Kounde, but the squad they have now, the players, should be enough to win Tuchel a couple more trophies over the next 12 months

And then he can see the club splashing the cash for Kounde next summer, especially as there is only a few weeks left of the transfer window and both clubs are not even close to agreeing a fee.
