Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a club-record £80m offer for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jude Bellingham.
The 18-year-old midfielder continues to impress for team and country since making the move to the Bundesliga from Birmingham City last year and stays contracted to Dortmund until the summer of 2025.
However, Bellingham’s stunning breakthrough has supposedly led to interest from top teams such as Chelsea, who are believed to be plotting a swoop for the English playmaker next summer.
Now, the Daily Star reports that Jurgen Klopp has earmarked Jude Bellingham as the perfect addition to his midfield, with the Merseyside Reds failing to replace Wijnaldum in the most recent transfer window.
The report suggests that the Merseyside Reds are ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for the England international, who stays content at Dortmund but is aware that a Premier League move may be inevitable.
