CHELSEA told Haaland is Stamford Bridge boundChelsea and Marina Granovskaia have been handed a major boost in their bid to land Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland is one of the hottest strikers at the moment and has caught the attention of top European sides, including Barcelona, Man City, Liverpool and Real Madrid. Man United made an attempt but failed in the summer as Borussia Dortmund were not willing to let him go.
However, a former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise has predicted that the Blues now stand a chance to sign Erling Haaland in the summer. The ex-full-back said Thomas Tuchel will seek to land his dream striking partnership of Haaland and Lukaku in operation for the start of next season, a development that will motivate the club to spend, knowing that they could get results.
Riise openly admitted on talkSPORT: “In the Premier League, I can only see maybe Manchester City and Chelsea being able to afford him.
“But then again, is salary that important to him? He’s going to earn a lot anyway. “The only chance I can see him at Liverpool is if the salary (demand) goes down. “When it comes to his agent and the numbers I’m reading now, I can only see City or Chelsea in the Premier League.”
