Monaco ace will immediately return to Ligue 1 club on loan if he joins Chelsea
amid january transferChelsea are allegedly looking to land Aurelien Tchouameni during the January transfer market before loaning the player back to Monaco for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form at club level this season, contributing two goals in 20 matches in all competitions, while the Frenchman has been a regular for his nation since debuting in September.
A couple of leading European clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United, are believed to be keen on signing the talented youngster next year.
However, according to TEAMtalk, the Blues are stepping up their pursuit of the player and could tempt Les Monegasques into a sale by offering to let Aurelien stay on loan at the Ligue 1 outfit for the rest of the season.
The report adds that Tchouameni is keen on sealing the move to Stamford Bridge but is also aware of the serious interest in his services from other teams, with Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan all believed to be keen.
Tchouameni, who started his professional career with Bordeaux, still has three years left to run on his existing deal with his club, placing Monaco in a strong negotiating position.
