Chelsea have burst into life in this summer's transfer window, signing Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly in the same week.

Todd Boehly is handling negotiations in a crucial, first summer transfer window as Blues owner, knowing Thomas Tuchel needs significant backing in the market following departures of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Romelu Lukaku.

football.london understands the Blues are in talks to sign both Presnel Kimpembe and Jules Kounde as Tuchel targets defensive reinforcements as a priority.

Chelsea have been touring America in preparation for the 2022/23 Premier League season, so football.london takes a closer look at everything you need to know ahead of the match tonight.

Where is it being played?

Chelsea's clash with Charlotte will get going from 00:00 AM BST on Thursday, July 21. The game will be held at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina with a capacity of 70,000 to watch the clash.

Where can you watch the match?

The game will be shown on Chelsea TV and on the Fifth Stand app. You can live stream the game from the app, which is available for download onto your mobile or tablet device.

Viewers in America can watch the game live on ESPN+ if you have a subscription to the service.

Chelsea team news

Armando Broja will miss the game against Charlotte FC after returning to London following an ankle injury. Broja has been linked with a move to West Ham this summer and talks are ongoing between the player and club, despite the Blues only wanting to allow the Albanian striker to leave on-loan.

Tuchel revealed that Koulibaly will not play a part against Charlotte FC after joining the Blues at the weekend, whilst Sterling is set to get his first minutes as a Chelsea player.
