Chelsea will now look to sign a new striker with Olivier Giroud leaving the club, with Harry Kane on the shopping list
Giroud has been a very good squad member for Chelsea over the past few seasons and has been a player that the club can rely on in the tightest of games.
However, with all the speculation that Thomas Tuchel is keen to add another striker to the squad, the German boss needs to make space in the squad and sell a few fringe players.
Girouds exit could be confirmed as early as next week with reports in Italy claiming that he is set to undergo a medical with AC Milan this week
Furthermore, it is understood that Giroud will also sign a two-year deal with the Rossoneri after they finally reached an agreement with the Blues regarding a transfer fee
And with his departure from the club, realchelseafans has now learned that the club will step up their attempts to complete a transfer deal for the likes of Harry Kane
Regarded as one of the very best strikers in world football right now, Kane has been a player that the club have been very interested in over the past few years, but they have not been able to get a deal done, as he did not want to leave Spurs
However, after failing to get back into the Champions League, or win a trophy, reports in the media over the past few months have claimed that he has told the Spurs board that he wants to leave this summer in order to win some trophies
And we are a club that have the ability and financial power to delve into that kitty and sign the big striker for £150 million, a fee that Daniel Levy will not budge on if they are to sell their star man
