The second round of the competition comes to a close tonight, with Arsenal's away clash with Championship side West Bromwich Albion due to finish last with an 8pm kick-off. Newcastle v Burnley and Newport v Southampton (both 7.45pm), of course, could finish later should the games end in draws.

Brentford have already booked their spot in the third round after a win over Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday night, while Crystal Palace were knocked out by Watford.

With Arsenal playing tonight due to finishing eighth last season, the third round draw will also include Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham - who all finished in the top seven to secure European football.

Nearly team news time! Arsenal's team will be released in around 30 minutes as they prepare to take on West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns. The Gunners will be looking to get back to winning ways after a poor start to the season and tonight marks the perfect chance. Who would you like to see Mikel Arteta go with tonight?
