Chelsea have a real feeling of squad unity in the camp right now and you can see how they all play for each other and the head coach, Thomas Tuchel. They fully trust each others ability and you can see there is a real mutual respect amongst the whole group right now.
Team spirit literally wins you matches, and since Tuchel arrived at the club this is something he has really instilled throughout. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is the latest player to be publicly praising the quality of his team mates after some great form from Chelsea’s wing-backs, Reece James and Ben Chilwell recently.
Both have been getting goals, and first of all Loftus-Cheek has been praising James’ technique and ability to strike the ball, as report by The Chelsea Chronicle.
“We’ve had goals all the way through to the strikers,” Loftus-Cheek told Stadium Astro. “So everyone puts in a shift and contributes. “His technique when striking the ball is fantastic, whether it’s crossing the ball with the instep, curling it, or striking it with the laces. “As you can see, he’s very, very technical.”
Loftus-Cheek went on to talk about how well Chilwell has responded after a tough summer.
“We could see that in training when he was not playing too much at the start of the season, he was still training fantastically well,” Loftus-Cheek said. “That’s credit to him that he’s able to knuckle down and keep focused when things are not going his way. When the opportunity came, he’s taken it. “We’re happy for him. He’s doing so well. We hope he keeps scoring those volleys.”
