Chelsea forward Armando Broja is not interested in another loan move amid interest from West Ham, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 20-year-old was highly impressive during his loan spell at Southampton last season. He played 32 matches in the Premier League, scoring six goals and bagging an assist.

The Albania international has now returned to Stamford Bridge but his future in London is unclear, with several clubs reportedly interested in securing his services.

West Ham have already submitted an offer of £30 million and seem as the most likely destination for him. While Newcastle and Everton have also been credited with an interest in him.

Armando Broja wants to play regular football but he is unlikely to get that at Stamford Bridge, with Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic all ahead of him in the attacking pecking order.

Reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote in his column that Broja isn’t interested in another loan spell after he spent last season at Southampton.

“Broja is not interested in a loan deal. Chelsea would be open to a loan but the player no longer wants a loan after last year in Southampton, and before that in Vitesse,” He wrote.

“This is why with West Ham the negotiation is for a £30m permanent deal. The player’s priority is to have guaranteed game time and to feel important in the club, but it is also true that Broja knows that Thomas Tuchel is doing everything to keep him.”

Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of the 20-year- old and desperately wants to keep him at the club . A loan move could have worked for the Blues but the player isn’t interested in another temporary deal.

If the 20-year-old joins West Ham permanently, then they face the risk of history repeating itself. Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne were both Chelsea players early in their careers but they left Stamford Bridge due to lack of opportunities. And now they are two of the biggest stars in world football.
